Brainstorm Productions have been touring in schools throughout QLD, NSW, ACT, VIC, SA and TAS for almost 30 years. Every school day up to twenty five Brainstorm shows entertain and inspire thousands of children. We receive a continuous flow of letters, e-mails, messages, cards, stories, drawings and other heartwarming responses from children and teachers who have loved the shows.
We tackle the toughest issues: cyber bullying, violence, prejudice, harassment, child abuse, domestic violence, peer pressure, grief, eating disorders, substance abuse, depression, family separation, values, education and discrimination.
The creative team at Brainstorm have combined their years of experience in The Arts and in the Education system and then stepped outside the school to take a fresh look at how children can make sense of their thoughts, feelings and behavior. We are dedicated to creating a live in school performance that will have a lasting impression, and challenge even the most cynical child to examine their patterns of behavior. We relish the challenges of incorporating sound educational principles and clear strategies for positive changes in behavior with a mind-blowing theatrical experience. We take great delight in directing talented young actors, who become great role models for students right across Australia.
Brainstorm Productions are committed to running an ethical, independent business without corporate sponsorship or advertising, while keeping the ticket price affordable. The administrative staff at Brainstorm pride themselves on training the actors in every facet of OH&S and Codes of Conduct in schools.
